The Neuroscience Graduate Studies Program encourages applications from students who have a background in diverse fields such as engineering and mathematics as well as those with strong biological sciences backgrounds.

Neuroscience graduate students also benefit from the expertise of our program faculty. With more than 65 research faculty, representing the Colleges of Medicine, Biological Sciences, Social and Behavioral Sciences, Pharmacy, and Dentistry, we offer training across the entire spectrum of neuroscience with particular strength in Molecular and Cellular Neuroscience, Developmental Neuroscience, Behavioral Neuroscience, Neural Degeneration and Regeneration, Neuroimmunology, and Neuropharmacology.
