All students in our Program take a sequence of Core Courses that provides a rigorous and comprehensive introduction to the discipline of Neuroscience.  These courses are normally taken during the first year of study.  Student are also strongly encouraged to take one or more elective courses on more specialized topics related to their thesis research.  A wide range of elective courses are available to choose from and normally taken during the second year of study.
