Program Support
Students in the Neuroscience Graduate Studies Program receive the following financial package throughout their tenure in the program:
- Graduate Research Associateship
- Full tuition waiver
- Single student comprehensive health insurance
- Annual stipend (currently $23,600 USD)
Graduate School Fellowships
- University Fellowships - A limited number of University Fellowships are awarded to students on a competitive basis. Graduate programs nominate students for this fellowship if they meet the following criteria:
- Minimum GPA of 3.6 on a 4.0 scale for all undergraduate work
- Minimum 75th percentile average on the GRE general exam’s Verbal and Quantitative components and a 4.0 on the Analytical Writing component
- Indicate interest in a fellowship by checking the appropriate box on the application form
- Graduate Enrichment Fellowships - These fellowships are awarded to select under represented students beginning graduate work at Ohio State. These awards are reserved for students who, by virtue of their prior training and education, may not be competitive in the regular University Fellowship Program. Graduate programs nominate students for this fellowship if they meet the following criteria:
- Minimum GPA of 3.6 on a 4.0 scale for all undergraduate work
- Minimum 40th percentile average on the general exam’s Verbal and Quantitative components and a 3.5 on the Analytical Writing component.

Other Financial Support
