How to Apply

The Ohio State University Neuroscience Graduate Program requires all the items listed below before an applicant's file is considered complete:

All items must be received by the published deadlines to ensure sufficient time for processing. 

Application 

Curriculum Vitae/Resume

  • Attach your CV/resume to your online application
    • You do not need to submit a hard copy of your CV if you attached it to your application

Statement of Purpose

  • Attach your statement of purpose to your online application
    • You do not need to submit a hard copy of your statement of purpose if you attached it to your application

Official Transcripts

  • One original transcript from each accredited institution of higher education attended
  • Applicants now have the option to upload transcripts when they submit their application, or they can email transcripts to gradadmissions@osu.edu if they have already applied. The images need to be of actual transcripts, not advising reports or web printouts.
  • Hard copies of transcripts may be sent to:

Official (tape reported) GRE scores

  • Please contact Education Testing Services (ETS) to request official (tape reported) test scores.

Three Letters of Recommendation with Reference Forms

  • Requests for letters may be submitted online with your application
    • Your recommenders do not need to submit hard copies if they have submitted their letters electronically
