Life Sciences Network

Working across colleges and departments across The Ohio State University campus, the Life Sciences Network is an entirely new way of approaching interdisciplinary science and discovery. We are a network unlike any other on campus, dedicated to providing tools for faculty to work across campus boundaries, eliminating administrative barriers, and productively engaging with research partners from across the university.

As part of the Life Sciences Network, students have access to two dozen different graduate programs across the life sciences spectrum. At the center of our efforts is a growing partnership with four Life Sciences Interdisciplinary Graduate Programs: Biochemistry (OSBP); Biophysics; Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology (MCDB); and Neuroscience (NGP).

These programs integrate world-class faculty from all of Ohio State’s life sciences centers, departments, and colleges, and offer the opportunity for original dissertation research. Four distinct curricula teach theory and practical investigation of life and disease emphasizing biochemical, biophysical, cellular, or molecular studies.
